Ashley Jenkins
Ashley Jenkins is the mother of 3 young boys and is happiest playing outside. She has worked in the outdoor ed and experiential education field for over 25 years and is honored to be the Founder and current Board President of the SYV Children's Museum.

Jenny Stepien
Jenny Stepien is currently a project manager for Elliott and Pohls Construction in Solvang California. She has extensive experience in community and youth programs and has her degree in Ecology and Environmental Education. It is her passion to link the environment, outdoors, health, volunteerism and overall well-being to youth and community through experiential education.

Jaslynn Abbott
Jaslynn Abbott has been teaching at Santa Ynez Elementary for 12 years and is currently raising three young active children. She loves gardening, traveling and making Sourdough bread.

Jane Soto
Jane Soto is a curriculum Advisor for Trivium Charter School and has homeschooled 4 sons during her 18 years in the Santa Ynez Valley

Rick Soto is currently the head Pastor for the Ranch Church. He has extensive experience in fundraising and is on the board of several charitable foundations and organizations.

Amy Yeung
Amy Yeung is excited to help build the SYV Children’s Museum for her 3 children and friends to play at! Amy has lived in Buellton for 5 years and loves exploring all the local hiking trails, river spots, and beaches that Santa Barbara county has to offer! To build the Museum, Amy writes grants and volunteers at events.

Cheyenne and her family have been a part of the SYV community for 5 years. Cheyenne loves getting involved with community events and projects that include growth, inclusion, and engagement. Since moving to Buellton, Cheyenne has been involved with MOPS, PTSA, Girl Scouts, Special Olympics, classroom volunteering, and The SYV Children’s Museum.
Cheyenne has been a volunteer for The SYV Children’s Museum since the summer of 2023. During her time volunteering she has helped at discovery days, planning events, and fund-raising. She looks forward to seeing the museum welcome visitors and meet the needs of children and families in the area.
