PLAY OUTSIDE!

Learn who we are and why we want to bring a one of a kind, outdoor Children's Museum to the Santa Ynez Valley.

help us build a garden!

Through generous grants from the Chumash and Albertsons Foundations and Valley Gardener, we have our land cleared and water lines installed. Now it's time to build and grow!

We need your help to purchase 6 raised beds, soil, native plants, healthy vegetables as well as tools and work stations. You can help hundreds of local children connect with the food they eat by clicking http://SYVChildrensMuseum.fpfundraising.com and ordering your own bulbs and seeds through us this year.

The SYV Children's Museum receives 50% of all purchases through this Flower Power Fundraiser that ships directly to you! If only 100 people place orders of at least $50 each, you will help raise over $2500 dollars for the SYV Children’s Museum Organic Garden. All orders will begin shipping on April 1st.

Thanks for helping us Grow!

More About Our Vision

A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER

Welcome

Thank you for supporting the Santa Ynez Valley Children’s Museum! We are building an all outdoor children’s museum to provide educational, open-ended play for children in our community and beyond.

In partnership with the City of Buellton, we secured a permanent site located at 202 Dairyland Road. Our location is right next to the soon to be relocated Buellton Library, River View park, and within easy reach of all local schools, making this the perfect place for children to learn and play in a natural environment.

In October 2021, we broke ground and started renovating our site to prepare for exhibit development. We will continue construction with the support of people like you, with the goal of opening our doors to the public in 2025.

Join us in supporting precious children and youth in our community, as we continue to build the Santa Ynez Valley Children’s Museum, together.

Sincerely,
Ashley Jenkins

Executive Director of Play
Santa Ynez Valley Children’s Museum

The SYV Children’s Museum will be built in at least 2 phases over the next several years. We are currently raising $500,000 to cover building all our Phase One exhibits and our first year of expenses.
