The SYV Children's Museum is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to building an outdoor Children's Museum in the Santa Ynez Valley, providing enriching outdoor play opportunities for every family in our community and beyond.
All exhibits will be touchable, movable, buildable and diggable including a large waterway shaped like a river, themed playhouses that reflect the culture of our community, a mud pit, truck zone, organic garden and more.
Thanks to a generous grant of land from the City of Buellton, we are building on the Williamsen property near River View Park and broke ground October 7th 2021 with the goal of opening our doors Summer 2022.
We will also launch a pre teen/teen program in 2022 to provide fun safe activities for older kids during evening hours.
We are currently raising $1.5 million in community donations to build our site and fund our first year of operating. You can help build this big beautiful thing by clicking the DONATE button at the top of this page
